Can someone please tell me what hand Barry thought he beat when he called the river with J9? I went through every possibly combo I could think of and came up with 1 hand, "76", which I think is ridiculously unlikely.

So...gross misread or steaming?

Also, sorry if this has been discussed, but why are Guy, Antonio and Patrik all wearing the same shirt?

What an episode, jesus christ. Some comments:

1. I genuinely believe Sammy checked the river against Gold with AA to be nice. Unlike Gold, Sammy is pretty good at reading hands and making value bets, and knows AA is good there 100% of the time given the action and Jamie's antics.

2. All the people who laughed at claims of mine and others that a $200nl player online would be a winner in this game has to be an idiot to think otherwise at this point.

3. Jamie has quickly become the most annoying TV poker personality ever, and with guys like Phil Laak and Humberto Brenes in the running that's saying an awful lot.

Patrik started the show with a black shirt, changed midway through to the same shirt with Guy and Antonio... and in the previews for next week is wearing a blue shirt. This guy goes through a lot of clothes!

Good post. I also felt Sammy checked the river to be nice. Then Jamie starts lying through his teeth about how "I though I was being nice to you" etc. He's a poor lier. It was clear he was frantic about being behind. Soon Sammy realized what a piece of work Jamie is and wished he had bet.
