Default (78) Rivered Str8 vs Top Player on bubble

Villain is one of the best at this level. He limps a ton from the SB, too.

FWIW, I've raised his limp a couple of times already (no showdowns) and have many times in the past so trapping a big hand here is in my mind whenever he does limp. I also think he is fairly nitty post flop, I don't *see* a lot of bluffs from him especially on the river.

This is the bubble and pays 65/35

I call here, I think by shoving you only get called by Qx or boats and fold out everything else because the board is so connected. I don't think you get paid off by a wide enough range to justify shoving.

I probably raise the flop. The tiny turn bet looks like a monster, since he's not even really trying to protect against straight draws. I think this is a call on the bubble.

Im with Q in wondering why a top player is limping and making donk min bets. As far as a FH, the only had that would make sense to me is 33, maybe he doesnt want to get restolen from pre with that hand. I would think him having 9T is possible too, he might have been minbetting to draw cheaply
