check and call any bet......if he has a straight, then good for him.....if he has a flush, you played the hand perfectly and denied him proper pot/implied odds.

folding here for 1/3 pot is a clear mistake, IMO. 30 hands is not enough to know whether he was insanely card dead. i've started out sessions with numbers like that before.

I vote block for 15 or so.

If he raises you I think you can safely lay it down. Two pair isn't raising you since he's a rock.

Edit: Oops, i guess stack sizes don't allow for this

Uh, PLEASE PUSH IT IN. Rocks dont call with naked flush draws for 1/2 their stacks. Maybe he had something like AQcc or AKcc or something, but you are good here SOOOO often.

But rocks don't call pushes on 3flush boards without flushes.

You both only have what, $10 left? Regardless of what you choose to do, you can't possibly fold at this point.

How many stats on Rock?

He may well be card dead for 30 odd hands, it can happen at which point a good ace looks likes a royal flush to him.

That river is horrible.

I am checking here and going to let Rock charge me if he has made his flush/straight, I am hoping it is less than $10 if he has made that.

check/calling is horrible in this spot.
you pay of better hands and worse hands check behind.
just push it

... and worse hands fold and better hands call.

I can't see how this works better than check/calling.
Maybe settle for a blocking bet? Try to make it look like a lure? That could scare a (weak) better hand into calling rather than pushing.

isnt it pretty obvious how it works better?
pushing gives you a chance to extract value from worse hands whereas chk/calling does not.
better hands will always be paid off by us.
potsize doesnt allow for stuff like blocking bets and chk/folding with this hand would be madness
