also worth noting that their last 9 games have been against the mets, red sox, and angels- winning percentages of .653, .688, and .608 respectively...
their pythag is .541, and they are about to add clemens and hughes, things are going to turn around. period. plus they have tons of money and cashman is extremely capable of pulling off a nice deal. no reason for yankee fans to lose hope.

i don't mind mike and the mad dog but i don't take anything they say seriously. ditto any radio sports talk show host. part of being on the radio means perpetuating silly arguments that have been settled long ago, or being superbly results-oriented.
i like most of the yankees color guys. i liked jim kaat a lot, but he retired.
