Default Yoga

Gay?

I did a class today, partly as a favor to my girlfriend, partly to see if it was hard, and partly to vary my routine up.

I was dripping with sweat and thought it was pretty difficult and can tell i will be sore. I am very inflexible though. My girlfriend thought it was easy, but she is very limber.

anyway, gay or not gay?

discuss.

why would this be gay? stretching isn't gay...

however, if you were staring at the package of the bent over dude in front of you while thinking of having sex with him...that would be gay...

well i am quite sure that the hard part of it isn't gay....but it was in the women's section.......they put on funky new aged music......they say weird things about peace......some of it is just laying there.....which is a little creepy.....but not as creepy as my ellipses...i don't know.

ellipses are awesome...i never end a thought w/o one...

using ellipses also lets people know i don't give a [censored] about correct spelling/punctuation/grammar so the nits dont come attack me

I think the outfits on a guy would be pretty gay, but yoga itself is not. Lots of those guys can do some pretty amazing things with their bodies.

I really like having plenty of flexibility as a means of injury prevention. If you slip or twist the wrong way during a takedown in sparring, or if you lose your balance under some weight you're lifting or crank a joint a bit of the wrong way, a little extra flexibility can mean the difference between a quick recovery or serious injury. And you'll need flexibility more and more the older you get, so it's always a great physical asset.

P.S.: I can see not getting into the political stuff in a class though. That seems a bit out of line.

Umm... Seeing as it's a room full of women. It would be unequivocally not ghey. If in question, ogle the instructor to reassert masculinity.

I think the only possible negative about being in a yoga class full of girls in skintight clothes would be constantly trying to stifle or wish away a boner. Then again, having to do that in a gym full of sweaty guys would be even more terrifying.

Yoga is the best exercise in the world IMO. It makes you feel so great and works muscles that you have used before.

There are studies showing Yoga increases GABA in the brain. More GABA = less depression/anxiety/disease.

It makes me angry that Yoga is so good for you because it all seems so...uh, effeminate to me.

I wish the only exercise that produced resutls was the deadlift and that bicept curls made you grow hair on your palms.
