Default 32 Card Draw Strategy

I have been invite to a mixed home game of NL/PLO and 32 card draw nl. I am confident with the first two but completely new to the 32 card draw nl, also referred to as 'Italian poker'. If anyone has experience of the game or a the type of strategy I should be looking to use I would be extremely grateful. Also, are there any books on this game?

Here is the action/rules if you have never seen it before.

32 Card “Italian” Poker in 6 steps

Step 1: Posting the Blind Bets.
Step 2: 5-card first Deal.
Step 3: The First Betting Round.
Step 4: Discards Round.
Step 5: Second Betting Round.
Step 6: The Showdown.

Step 1: Posting the Blind Bets. In 4-5 player games, the first, second and third players sitting to the left of the Dealer post the blinds. In 3-player games, the same applies (Dealer posts the Over). In heads-up, only Small and Big-Blinds are posted.

Step 2: 5-card first Deal. The Dealer distributes 5 facedown Poker Cards to each payer, in clockwise fashion, one at a time, starting with the player to the left of the dealer in 3-5 player games. In heads-up, the small blind is dealt first, then the Dealer.

Step 3: The First Betting Round. After receiving the 5 cards, action starts with the first player to the left of the Over, or the small Blind in heads-up games. The betting round proceeds clockwise around the table, with each player acting in turn. In this betting round each player must at least Call the Over (or Big Blind), in order to stay in the game. The minimum raise is the table’s Upper Limit Stake.

Step 4: Discards Round. All remaining active players have the option to discard 0-4 cards and have an equal number of cards dealt for them. The discarding begins with the first player from the left of the dealer.

Step 5: Second Betting Round. The Action begins with the first active player to enter the game during the First Betting Round, or with the first active member to the left of the over blind, if there were only flat-calls during Betting Round 1. The minimum raise is the table’s Upper Limit Stake.

Step 6: The Showdown. When the Betting Round 2 is completed and if more than 1 player remains, each player shows their hand. The highest valued Poker hand wins the Pot, minus the Rake. All-in Policy applies to all game Pots.

It's close to 52cards draw poker strategy. You can find at this forum... But in 32card version you should play only pair of AA and better
