Saw this show the night before in Dallas. I was totally unfamiliar with Art Brut going into this thing. They didn't do a lot for me at first, but they started to grow on me towards the middle of their set, and by the end I really liked them. Their frontman might be the most British person in the world.

I thought the Hold Steady was absolutely amazing. So much energy and sincerity from those guys. Too bad Dallas crowds are generally lame and unresponsive, and that night was no exception.

Band of Horses - Cease to Begin - very good album although maybe a slight step down from its predecessor
