I probably call here without a huge read.

The seat is locked up if you win this hand and you are probably 70% to win the hand. What do you think your odds of winning are if you keep folding?

edit : upon further reading, it seems teh BB only has 53k before posting. now its waaaaaay closer and probably a fold...no clue now.

My main problem with folding this is that it means that you will be folding every hand until the small stack doubles up and with 6000/12000 blinds you will be the short stack if he survives

huh? i don't see why it means that. obv we are going to be folding to pushes unless we have AA, but why can't we be making a few well placed pushes of our own? you know, fold equity and all that.

Sick spot. You call and win, you're virtually guaranteed a seat. You fold, your best shot is BB blinding away and you or the other two players taking him out. Btw, shortstacks are near impossible to eliminate on the bubble [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

I'm not saying i fold every hand, but i'm not sure we need to go to war here with kings. The shortstack is small enough that we can wait a few orbits at least before he gets equal to us (assuming he pushes a few times, and we fold everything and its all preflop poker) and then we can get more active.

Also it would help knowing how the table is playing, if the bigstack is going nuts and running over the table i'll let him do it since its likely one of the other two will take a stand and bust themselves. It also would be nice to know how the other medium stack is playing (if he is likely to make stupid mistakes then i wouldn't think too hard about folding KK).

But yeah, i don't plan to sit here and fold all day, but for now we can fold here i think and see what happens.
