Default You hold the fate of a complete stranger in your hands

Here's a question for the forum. (I do not mean this as a philosophy question, just as a What do you feel like doing? question)

There's a stranger, in another part of the world, who you will never meet, whose life will never affect yours in any way. You have the power to determine whether his breakfast will be burnt this morning. No good nor bad will come out of his breakfast being burnt, except for his/her negative emotions about the matter (which won't be transferred to anyone else). Afterwards you will instantly forget what decision you made. Do you burn his breakfast or not?

If it's not going to affect me in any way, positively or negatively, and I won't even remember it, why cause someone any frustration he'd feel about a burnt breakfast? Doesn't seem like a very hard decision to me unless I missed something.

I think a lot of people here would burn it because it's funny.

I think a lot of people would find it amusing that they could someone's day with no possible benefit to themselves or anyone else. If you don't think so, read this forum. I'm trying to get at a human-nature thing, but I don't want it to be a philosophical/religious SMP discussion which is a debate of definitions, but rather a "all things being equal, do I want someone else to be happy" discussion.
