it's not really a HUGE deal which you do but c/r does polarize your range a bit

So what? He's still paying off with 99/TT and probably 88 if he played it like this preflop. c/cing allows scare cards to fall that don't let you stack those hands, and most turns will never make him a 2nd best hand that won't pay off a flop c/r.

I don't like C/C here. C/C on the flop puts you in the same situation on the turn whereby you have no clue where you are at. If you C/R and he calls you might be able to C/F the turn although at this point I want to get it AI no matter waht the turn card is.
