Why is Oasis a guilty pleasure? Is there a huge chunk of society that deems them unworthy?

Artist - There are very few I listen to often that are "guilty pleasures," but plenty of artists who have a few songs I like. Fallout Boy makes me the most upset, because I really want to be past my pop/punk phase.
