Default Moving your body when you don\'t have to (aka people are weird)

I'm sure this thread can grow past the three examples I'm about to give. I really feel like a downie when I do any of these (and I do all of them):

1) You're behind home plate at a baseball game and a ball is fouled off right at the glass wall or netting in front of you. Even though the ball has no chance of hitting you, you duck, dodge to the left, or cover your face. It's instinctual, but still funny.

2) You're driving through a parking garage or somewhere else with very low overhangs, and when you get to a tight squeeze for your car, you duck down so your head is barely at steering wheel level. Then you realize you're an idiot because moving your head does not alter the height of the vehicle you're driving.

3) You're bowling and the ball appears to be going a bit too far to one side. You screw up your mouth and face, then lean as far over as you can to the other side to try to steer the ball back in. What's wrong with us?

What are some more of these?

Playing a computer game and leaning to look around a corner.

1 and 3 yes, but I've never done or seen anyone doing #2.

How about ducking down so your head doesn't get chopped off on overhanging roller coaster bars?

Apparently when I drive around corners I tend to lean my body into it, as if it'll help the car corner better. And it's not like I'm going fast enough that momentum would push me the other way forcing me to lean.

Playing car racing games and jerking the controller left and right around tight turns.

This is funny -- I do this sometimes during movies, too. Like in War of the Worlds, when the first attack scene happens, Spielberg keeps the camera just awkward enough so you can't see the tripods in full. I kept craning my neck around to get a better view of them.

I don't do any of these things for some reason but I know so many people that do that I understand. The bowling one is the one I almost do in some sports but I do it on purpose usually.

Might be a good idea if you're like 8 feet tall.
