Default First Post on 2+2, hey guys

I have finally come over here, after years of people telling me too and ive already seen the great discussions that take place here. I had a question for those who have had success in the big mtts (namely those who can close when they get deep)

My question is this: How the F do you close tourneys? I have found myself deep in some of the major fields over this past year, and while ive had my share of wins.. they have come in the 75's on ftp. Just this week I had these situations: 5/11 in the ftp 163... got 10th, chipleader in the 500k on ftp with 131 left, and chipleader in the 30R with 31 left, and I managed to get 70th ish, and 14th respectively. I just cannot close, and I am going to stop blaming it on bad beats and try to find a way to close.

I think my problem might be overcomitting myself late in mtts. I can do this early because it does not take as many chips, and I can often outplay my opponents. My big problem comes when I have about 15-25 bbs deep in a tourney.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Really can't imagine which kind of advice you wanna hear. I'm not a real big winner but i would propose winning flips and getting lucky near the end of a tournament is a really good proposition.
