Re: using FTP FPP\'s to enter tourneys.....
sublime, the amount of overlay (extra cash provided by FTP) is divided among all the entrants in the tourney and then that amount is deducted 100% from the MGR...
however, u are right, this question isn't brought up much with regards to the FPP...here's my guess, based off what i know from above... any extra money that is in the prize pool that didn't come from the entrants then would be divided up and deducted from ur MGR, since ur buying in with FPP, i would think you would not be providing anything to the pool...that's how i figure it, would be nice if an affiliate came in to confirm it, maybe x-post in a/r for better visiblity?? |

I think that is only true if all entrants in the tourney got in with the same amount of money. e.g. freeroll for everyone. If 99 people pay, and 1 person freerolls(pays points), the extra cash that FTP supplied would be for that 1 person only. It would be unfair for it to be deducted from the other 99's MGR. Now lets suppose 98 paid full, 1 person paid half, and 1 freerolled. The extra cash FTP provided could be fairly divided as follows.... 1/1.5 of the extra cash deducted from the freeroller. .5/1.5 of the extra cash deducted from the player that paid half price. |
