Default 50NL TPTK BvB

Hi

Villain was playing 50/11/3.8 over 60 hands. Only read on him really was that he liked to minbet w/crappy draws and mid pair , Seemd pretty stupid in general. I lead the river to get value from JT types of hands, didnt like the minraise on the flop but when he checked behind on the turn I thought there was a good chance I had the best hand.

I'm somewhere between 95% and 100% sure that the turn card filled up your opponent. Whether he had 44, 45, JJ, or J5, he really liked that turn card. That's why he donk checked, making it painfully obvious he had a monster (especially after his flop minraise). This becomes even more clear when he raises your river bet.

However, I think I don't wait for the river to put more money in this pot. I don't mind raising the flop, given your read of him. As played, fold river.

one other thing. not sure how many hands you've played lifetime, but this is a common pattern at micros:

you raise, c-bet, opponent folds.

over and over. because they're calling with crap preflop. they might just not know better. kinda like me if i were to play omaha: i have no idea what are good starting hands, so i'd probably call alot pf hoping to hit.

now, a few times your c-bets will be minraised. that's when their speculative hands have hit (usually).
