I'm UTG, should I bet this flop? Check/Raise? Should I ever fold this here.

Never fold. Bet this out because there's a risk it'll be checked around on the flop.

yeah i led it out and naturally I ran into top set and the nut flush draw.

practise better game selection. pick a table with less shortstacks.
