Canada - US , Wire transfer time?

Ok, here is one of those quick and easy questions for the forum.

Im awaiting a wire-transfer fro BC (Canada) to MO (US) and was wondering what time-line i can expect for the transfer.

I have Commmerce Bank.

depends on the service you get. It should say. Could be an hour, could be a few days. call them and ask if you need to know.

should be same day unless theres some problems

I talked to my bank and they said "it can take up to two weeks" (then she added) "but really, usually only takes like 4 days"???

What is this crap (sorry), INTERNET??? Why do we allow banks to pocket a weeks interest just cause they want to? Damned leeches.

Im hoping to get it this week, so that i can go "Baller party with some hoes" (Go to Centrefolds strip club and get hammered on Flu-shots)..

Thanks for the info, seems like the "consensus" is that "it can take whatever the banks want it too.."..

Oh, also. Could it speed things up to call my banks and have them check if the wire has gone through?
