Default Anyone else give up on the Acceler8or bonus?

My deal is pretty good: 1840 points for $135. At first I thought of it as a great opportunity to make dat munny, but recently realized that too much of my bankroll is at stake and it's become too big of a burden. I had to move up in limits to meet the requirements for the first two weeks, and after a weekend of non-poker-related activities I found myself having to clear 900 points in two days. I simply cannot see myself doing that for six more weeks. So I'm basically calling it quits and bumping this bonus down on my list of priorities.

Anyone else just give up? The only reason I'm posting this is to see if there are other losers who quit too

I hate it. I feel obligated to play much more than I want to. Oh, and I have only lost about 30 times my bonus this week. Fun.

I did it the first week, but now that the sng structure changed, it is impossible for me. I will get it like for 1 week I think when I become a gold member and my regular points rate doubles.

Marathon losing day today playing cash games when I am normally a SNG player. I am very much second guessing my decision to pursue the bonus.

I gave up on the first week..and haven't thought about it since then..my bonus was like 3665 for $210 but I would have had to sacrifice table selection and put in more hours than I am able to to reach that goal

I did mine the first week by moving up in stakes. The 2nd week came around, and I was in the same boat. Jumped up the stakes, ran hot at the start, the lost badly trying to play 9 hours of 3/6 6max. This week, my bankroll is still to short to move up, so I am letting this one go.
