Small Flush OOP and lost
This was the first hand at the table. I hate that I didn't lead out on the turn here. Should I be check/calling or check/folding the river?

Re: Small Flush OOP and lost
I dont like checking. If you check he could trow in a huge bet and then you dont know where you are standing. I think you should put in a bet here that says i mean business. a bit over half pot maybe. If he then raises you all in fine then he probably has a better flush. If he calls fine he maby have a better flush but you get a good showdown. it might even be that your hand is the best hand.

Re: Small Flush OOP and lost
There is no way you should even consider folding with an unpaired board. Your mission is to figure out the line that gets all the money in.
Pushing that river is about a PSB, which is fine. But Villain's turn line looks block-ish; he's got to be somewhat concerned about the flush. With no reads, I don't have a problem with a 1/2 pot value bet, but it's either 1/2 pot or push, and I usually push. People suck at folding sets / two pair. |
