I thought emotional stability, detachment and non results orientated thinking were more or less a requirement to be a winner in HSNL. I mean, everyone's human but for the most part I thought HSNLers were thinking the right way >95% of the time. There are 2 things to winning in poker- having the ability to make the correct decision and actually making the correct decision. I suppose some people come up with the right answer more and some act on their correct decisions more.

2nd post is great too, interesting read, nice bump.

EDIT: is there some irony here I`m not getting?

99.9% of the people who go through a significant cold streak are unable to maintain this logic.

So no, it's not as simplistic as you are trying to make it.

He's not trying to make it simple, it is simple. Sounds like the consensus is it's tough to always do/follow, etc., which it totally different than being simple/hard.

Edited to ask: [ QUOTE ]
It took me about one and a half years to be comfortable playing against any player in the world in a single table tourney. Maybe in a little over a year I’ll be able to say the same thing about cash games. Maybe it’ll be longer. Maybe it won’t happen.

Having been on HSP and in the biggest online games do u feel any different now?

You can still get mad in the short run and be justified because I expect to run like God.

If you are tilted/making poor decisions 5% of the time at HSNL you are going to be losing a lot of money, IMO.
