Some advice needed from MicroStakesNL
My current situation is this - my BR is ~$4,000 however I am currently playing 25NL online - as I play live aswell (so dont have all my $ online) and I have just got back to playing online after a 2.5 month brake so I thought I'd start at the bottom and fix some of the leaks in my game.
A friend is offering donate $2,000 to my BR for a share of the profits, stopping once he has received $2,000 back in profit - so he is taking one third of the risk so should I be giving him one third of the profits? Is this the ratio that is wise? or should I be trynig to get a better deal? Does any one have any other advise - is it even worth me doing this - as I am not going to suddenly play 100NL just because I have the BR for it? |

Re: Some advice needed from MicroStakesNL
So staking will not change the level you will play, i.e. you won't make more money, but you will have to give away some of your profits. What's the logic?

Re: Some advice needed from MicroStakesNL
your stake should be proportional to your winrate. I assume you have not played that many hands live and therefore are not an "established" winner.
Until that point I would take any deal offered. If you feel you are better than the deal offered then try to go out and find a better deal. |

What I dont understand is why you would take a stake if you do not need it. Its not like youre using it to take shots at higher levels, and youre obviously rolled properly for the micro's.
