25NL KK Turn Situation
In this hand I know im infront and I know that villan is very passive. How do I obtain value?
(I lost the HH, so this is a fictional one that I have created) Hero (UTG): $25.00 CO: $10.00 BTN: $25.00 SB: $25.00 BB: $25.00 Pre-Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG) Hero raise to $1.00, CO calls, 3 folds. Flop 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets $1.50, CO calls. Turn 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero? I know alot of people will be like "the flush is made!" But I know he has not got a flush draw (timeing tell on him). So I guess I have to bet for value/protection. But I know villan is folding if I do - is there a way to play this for maximum value? |

Re: 25NL KK Turn Situation
if hes folding to a bet and very passive himself you cant get value from him since he will only be betting with hands that beat you...

Re: 25NL KK Turn Situation
fire 3.00 at turn to protect if he folds oh well you won a pot, if he raises you might have to re-evaluate your read

Re: 25NL KK Turn Situation
Try to get value out of your hand at the turn, you don't want to see the river being another diamond.
If he shoves or reraises big, I'd fold. |

Re: 25NL KK Turn Situation
yeah bet again. usually a jack will raise on the flop (unless it's kicker really sucks) but who knows. if you get raised on the turn, well that's usually not good.
