Default DK Poker Tables

I've been looking at the poker tables at www.dkpokertables.com and was just wondering if any of you guys have bought from them before? They look absolutely gorgeous but are really really expensive. If you have a custom table from there could you post a pic and tell how much you paid?

Why not try to build your own--here's mine from a few years back and it still works and looks great (not to mention it only set me back about $300)

You can find it in this thread from a few years back along with many others
http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/...page/0/fpart/3

Here is the site I used to build mine
http://chris.norrick.com/poker_table/

I was surprised how easy it was. It took me a 3-day weekend to finish once all of the materials arrived (folding table legs, padded rail, cup holders all from consinosupply.com. Basically the last 2 days are staining and applying the multiple coats of urethane.

dandy

I highly suggest building your own table if you have any skills at all. Here is my table. We haven't put legs on it yet (coming soon!), but it plays great and we did it for less than $200 with only a single weekend's worth of effort.

The home game I play at has a custom built table that they ordered for $700 (I don't know who they ordered from) and it is nowhere near as nice- the felt it uses is pretty crummy feeling and the race track actually sits ON the felt and is composed of multitple pieces so it has seams.

I found this site with WONDERFUL AND VERY VERY detailed directions and diagrams showing how to make dozens of different poker tables:

Build your own. My buddy and I built a perfectly good table for $200 in a single day (no track). Casinosupply.com has the felt, rail material, etc.

FWIW, building your own table is certainly the most economical way to go about it. However, none of the tables anyone has built here or linked to look as nice as these DK tables look. That said, they are ridiculously expensive.
