Default Absolute client shut down, no reason

I was playing 2 tables on Absolute and had 4 others open when all of a sudden the program shut down instantly (I had good hands on both tables). All tables and the lobby closed. I had to start the program and log in. None of the tables came back up, and I searched to find one in time, but couldnt get to one in time. The hand histories for those particular hands were not saved.

Anyone ever experienced this before? Is it standard for the tables you were at not to come back up when you log back into the program? Is there anyway to get the hand histories for these hands?

I had the same thing happen last night. Relaunched the program and have had no problems since.

Thought it was odd to get kicked off all my tables, but not the end of the world.

It bites, hard. I have played quite a bit on AP and have had similar problems two or three times. It is one area where the software needs improvement. You would have to ask support for the hand history. If you have the hand number it should not be a problem, otherwise I don't know. I have not bothered since the hands I was involved with were trivial and the disco protection does work on AP. Also, you will essentially be at their mercy with no recourse.

it's happened to me, too. i read in a different post something about uninstalling and reinstalling but haven't thought it was worth the trouble yet.

I've played 30k hands on AP and this hasn't happened to me yet, but it surely doesn't sound very good.

I've had this once or twice on Party. Not played Absolute though...

I've definitely had my share of absolute freeze-ups, I don't think it has ever just closed out of the blue though. The most annoying part is, like you said, that when you re-open the client, your previous tables dont automatically pop back up - you have to find them. Something really needs to be done about that.
