Default PCA Bahamas

Hey,

I just won a seat on Stars doing the 6 step levels. I have won seats to the WSOP Ladies event, but nothing like this. Any strategy I should use to get thru the first day would be appreciated.

Thanks

the "stall and fold to day 2" strategy is a good strategy to get through the first day. ted lawson could give you some pointers there.

Ty, I use the stall alot online, I am a clock junkie, if I think an extra 30 seconds could be used up to hit a small stack at at a bigger blind and ante I will do it every time. I appreciate the advice.

Who cares about making day 2? The point is to make money, so I recommend that you play on day 1 to accumulate chips, just like any other tournament. Try to maximize your profit, not just extend your playing time. Heck, you're in the Bahamas in January, giving you more reason than maybe any other event out there to not be so concerned if you bust early, as at least you'll get more time for the beach and whatnot.

I hope this is a joke. Stalling is an extremely douche baggish thing to do.

Perhaps clock junkine is a big exagerrated, but I have seen this tactic used online many times. I am not committing a mortal sin, just just trying not to bubble when there is a smaller stack that could be eaten up with 15 or 30 seconds. And it is not illegal.

Thank You Greg, I told my kids when I bust out more time on the waterslides.

This is perhaps the most ironic post in the history of 2+2.

I am new here and did not know how to respond to Z's comment. I was a bit floored with his response, but did not want to add any fuel to a dying fire.

I just wanted some advice on how to play the tournament. It's the biggest one of my life.
