AK OOP 3-bet multiway = ???
Short-handed (6 players) 0.5/1 home game. Bad MP limps, good TAG button raises to 5, I re-raise AKo to 15. I have a solid image. MP cold calls (was drunk atm so he could have about anything, but nonetheless WTF), button calls.
Flop J85, diamond draw. I check... Some questions: 1. Preflop - anyone considers just calling the raise given that button is a good player and will not be pushed easily off any made hand? Being OOP obviously doesn't help either. 2. Who leads flop and which amount? Do you change your strategy according to button's style? |

didn't mention stack sizes: MP is around 90, button 120ish, I cover.

Is this a cash game or tourney? If tourney, what's your stack size and how fast are the levels?

Re: AK OOP 3-bet multiway = ???
cash obviously.
i'm 3betting a tag's button open OOP most to nearly all the time. i think i might bet out given buttons range is wider than usual given his great relative position and and the pot odds. J hi flop is ok for our hand too, but I guess no-one's pitching QQ if you bet? |
