Default Quick & Dirty blind vs. blind warfare

6-handed 50/100NL game, SB (villain) is very good LAG and big winner in the game and has a huge stack. I'm new to the table and have 1 full buy-in, 10K. Pretty sure he doesn't have a read on me, cuz i don't play that much in his games.

Very first hand at the table, I'm in BB and pick up A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Folded to villain in SB who raises to 300, I re-raise to 1,100. He thinks for a long time and calls.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Checked to hero, I bet $1,600 into $2,200 pot.
Villain checkraises to $3,600.

Hero...?

(also comment on flop play...)

I think you have to call the flop c'r and fold to a turn shove. You'll be getting almost 3-1, but i can't see him bluffing again on board that dry and he can't assume he can make you fold an ace.

There's nothing wrong with checking the flop behind.

if ur auto-folding to a shove (unless 9 hits), i really don't know if i like a flop call.

I would check back the flop here a lot, especially if I am unsure of what to do if he c/r

Of course i would. This situation isn`t 100% sure, so it`s an obvious post. ;-)
I like a fold here and checking behind flop is so standard on this dry board.
