Gabe and AJ had some killer lines this show. At the very start I think there were three lines in 5 minutes that had me busting a gut. Although, I can't remember any of them now.

Also, what the hell was with the last 20 minutes. I think we saw 4 hands and 10-15 minutes of commercials.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it went something like:

Gabe: Phil Hellmuth has got a weird look on his face... like a shy ostrich who's looking to mate.

AJ: I'll take your word for that one.

Gabe: You don't watch National Geographic?

AJ: Yeah but the ostrich episodes are not my favorite.

It's rare that anything on TV gives me a 30 second belly laugh. These guys do it pretty consistently once or twice per show.

[/ QUOTE ]

That one was absolutely awesome!

Im tired of this table.

I would need stack sizes, but I'm pretty sure Jeniffer's JJ hand on paper was bad, but I think it was Jamie's speech that did it, and I have no prob with a player of her caliber going with her read despite good odds (it should also be noted that her read was good in a sense, it was clear that in Jamie's mind he had the nuts and really wanted her to call).

[/ QUOTE ]

I agree, when Jamie said something like "I've beeen bluffing all day", when I think talking to Phil, Jen seemed to pick up on that quickly and mucked pretty soon afterwards. I think Jamie did well to sense that he was up against a big pair, and was very close to being called, so did just enough to get her off the hand without making it look like contrived table talk bluff/doublebluff.

[ QUOTE ]
Amazes me how much Sammy can bet on so little ... that k7 hand with that value bet on the river turning it into a 300k + pot is just sick. Playing an uncapped PL Omaha game with Farha would have to be as stressful as it gets in poker. The guy is fearless and sick in the head ...

[/ QUOTE ]

And the best part was that he knew he was good. He knew top pair with no kicker was good so he tried to represent either holding the nut straight, or a bluff, in order to simplify Phil's decision and make him more likely to call.

I was very impressed with Sammy's (post flop) play in this hand.

I'm so sick of the Sammy,Eli show, can we replace them with more interesting players, please?? And the commercials were ridiculous.

Wasn't this also the hand where you could hear Sammy (outside the camera) say to Elezra: "we know what he has, but he has no clue what we've got" or something like it, before the flop was dealt..?

Hehe.

It was nice to see Sammy in a good mood again, after he was steaming bad and getting grumpy in the last couple of episodes.

Greasy AJ was pretty funny as well--overall decent episode...looking for a lot more entertainment to come.

Does anyone else think the game would break if these two left? The real pros aren't going to sit there and nit it up with "sweaty Phil."

Why is Brandon Adams on the show? He always has been a total stiff nit.

[/ QUOTE ]

I have only watched him play on "Cash Poker" and he was not close to a nit. He was floating in pos. and trying all sorts of bluffs. This table calls for some nittness.
