Villain in this hand is DerekJC, prob one of the top msnl regs on stars. He's TAG and very agressive. I've stacked him twice so far where my AA>JJ aipf and my overplayed flush draw > his overpair. I'm not sure if he would be tilting or anything, but probably not. I think he views me as a player that can be spewy and possibly get attached to hands too easy.

My thoughts: I think flop is standard and turn is close. As for the river, I believe he's representing a narrow range of AQ/flush/air. I find it hard to believe that he'd value bet AK/AJ here due to flush card falling and everything, but maybe I am wrong. So I call seeing how his range seems very polarized. Thoughts?

After you call the flop and turn, should he really be concerned about a flush?

I like your reasoning and would probably play the hand like you did, but against players like this where you are just going to be playing guessing games postflop, preflop is pretty bad.

i'm not a fan of preflop, especially against someone as tough as Derek. Postflop i could probably find a fold

Flop and turn are fine, although I like a river fold. Like someone else said your range is going to be made up of a lot of flush draws and I just can't see him triple barreling on that when the fd hit.
