Given description looks like he'll call with JJ or Tx here. I think the commitment decision was made on the turn, and shoving this river has a pretty poor expectation.

This is a good time to be doing this with an overpair and feel good about it. Gotta follow what the players give ya.

when he calls the turn, he's not folding the river.

the board doesn't offer a draw until the turn, so i think he's going to show up here with a big hand a lot.

tbh, sometimes i give up on the turn here, and if i dont, i bet enough on the turn where my opponent won't be getting a good price on the river if i do decide to fire a third barrell, i.e., he's getting better than 3-1 here, so i think that means 10x is going to be calling basically all the time whereas if he has to call a potsized bet on the river, especially when you started the hand 200 BB deep, you have more fold equity from 10x type hands and pocket pairs (considerably more FE imho).

Looks pretty bad. Especially since he's a LAG that's been running bad

I think if you are doing this you should bet like $300 on the turn which looks more like a value bet, and so the river shove is bigger

[/ QUOTE ]

Yea these are my thoughts as well. I like $333ish on turn and shove river if you insist on running a big bluff here. Bet sizing here is pretty bad, and makes this river super awkward.
