I'm not asking this because a K floped but what do you usually play here? KQo is too good of a hand to be folding preflop? What about A9o or 2's to 6's here? Going all in would be -ev unless they super tight though. I think I fould my a leak of mine if your suppose to be raising the low pocket pairs and KQo here.If you had 15xbb you would be raising KQo,A9o,pocket 2's+ for sure unless you have reads or they low stacked?

I consider a raise with a deeper stack. I think this fold is ok.

Generally speaking...

It's also a recognition of each of the stack sizes behind you. Greater equality of course makes for an easier scoop of the blinds with a small raise (granted with this equality makes some of the not-shove-worthy hands in this example, in fact shove-worthy).

With a desperate[perhaps] BTN and a huge SB, we need to consider our plan for after the raise. Here of course, we'd need considerably more chips to withstand the fold to SB's shove. With these additional chips we now also need to consider how our strength compares to BTN's shove (which we have to call of course).

Your stack is right at that border where pushing is almost mandatory if you are going to raise. 5 handed, where only QQ+,AQ+ has you dominated, I'd be pretty willing to open push knowing that I've got plenty of FE, and some outs if called by a hand not including the aforementioned ones.

Why is Rook the First guy who wants to push?
Look at your M...its about 3...and your effective M is even lower...I`d even push here with worse holdings! Kj would be good enough for me...what are you waiting for?! Everybody going all in before you are blinded away?!
You are in a bad position (low on chips) but you can use it to your favor. You still have enough left to "tease" the other players, which means: you can hurt them significantly. You still have FE...So take your chance and Push. Be happy if you get called by my KJ...

Shoving OP's hand is a mistake.

i stand corrected...hindsight's 20/20 but i probably would have pushed in this position. I don't know why i wanted to agree with OP's lack of interest in a shove.
