Default CDN players - how are you dealling with the low US dollar?

I'm planning on making a withdrawal soon but the exchange rate looks uglyyyyyyy. For fun I wanted to know how much $50 on PP would give me in CDN after a $2.50 fee at 1.04 and it was $43.... I don't even want to check it now. It's a bad time right now for CDN players relying on poker to pay bills at the moment.

How are you dealing with it?

Yes the exchange sucks, recently cashed out 15k to start a new Pizza delivery gig and WOW!!!! 13,480.69 after fees and all the bull. The good ol' days are long gone with the USD.
They say the USD won't be gaining any ground in the near future as well, so get used to it and i would exchange your funds as soon as you ge them b4 the USD drops even lower.

It's so bad too especially since Dodge told the media a week or two ago that the CDN dollar was overvalued. I'm just going to wait and see for now where the dollar settles at. We are too tied to the US economy without having this affect us negatively.

I do a lot of cross boarder shopping so that helps a bit but still not happy about it. I miss the extra 35% I use to get every time I cashed out. I'd be happy with parity at this point.

I only play as a hobby, so I'm just leaving it in there. I used to withdraw from my roll and buy stuff, so the exchange rate will help me kick that nasty habit so I can actually build a roll.

Thanks Bush! Maybe you can invade Iran and knock the USD 40% lower. Oh, and please keep that Iraq war thing going.
