Preflop is definitely frowned upon on this forum, but I'm not looking for suggestions about it.

This never looks great for discussion, but if your paying attention to the flow of the game and making good reads then this seems fine. Villian either has a monster or air.

If he folded you were probably ahead.

Definitely possible, but I can't very well call there.

Looks OK. $80 might be a bit small tho? $92 or something looks more like you tripled his bet to the bad maths people.

Yeah, $80 is definitely a small 3 bet, but I can't imagine he'd 4 bet shove air even if he thought I might be full of it, so I figured that this would would fold out all his non-monsters.

Putting the two together might indicate bluffing is a bad idea.

What's your plan for the river if he calls?

c/f of course. I don't think he's calling with draws and seemed aggro enough to where I think he'd generally bet with them on the flop.

I really thought he had to have air here, because I figured he'd almost always c-bet (maybe he wouldn't c-bet KK/QQ, but even those I think he would at least some of the time). Weaker hands that have me beat are either folding or calling to my initial bet, so I thought his range was very polarized and weighted towards air.

He did fold, but I wondered for a bit if it was better than just check/folding turn.
