$3.40 PS 10-seat: small overpair vs. all-in. . . .
I don't feel real good about this one. . . . How do you decide whether or not to make this call? It was close, as a call and lose doesn't really put me in that bad a position.

Raise a bit more preflop. Girls don't dig minraisers. t250 /275 is OK.
I call here. |

Push preflop and this would be so much easier

that's funny, I actually thought if anything I should have just limped. I thought the raise was technically incorrect, but that with these table conditions it may limit the field or even give me a cheap steal.
are you sure about raising a middle pair in mid pos with 8 players and blinds not particularly high? |

Re: $3.40 PS 10-seat: small overpair vs. all-in. . . .
Thought the blinds were 100/200 for some reason.
No then I like 250-300 better. I would be reluctant to put more money into the pot after being called though. Not sure what the right move is either and I dont think you quite get the odds you need to call here and I think you are behind villain. |

As the other posters said I would raise more preflop. As played I would never fold here. Even if villain has an overpair you're just an ~40/60 underdog.

Re: $3.40 PS 10-seat: small overpair vs. all-in. . . .
I think i would fold pf here, if you get called once you standard raise there will be flopped over a ton making post flop difficult to play and you are not priced for a set. I also wouldn't limp cause you are not deep enough for playing for set value, so i would fold.
Post flop dont fold |

Well that being said I often fold these as well. Just not worth getting into trouble over

I thought an overpair would have you as a 4:1 dog, 80-20? you sure aren't getting 4:1... I agree that this is a fold, if he was on a shorter stack say 7-8 bb instacall, but there's no reason to risk the luxury of a big stack on this kinda situation, even if you're ahead its not by much |
