Maybe if he was fully healthy. Garnett defensively especially against Duncan is a million times better than Amare. Offensively Amare is slightly better. Passing, rebounding, blocking shots, steals, etc. I want KG. Duncan struggles with lanky guys in the past, and Duncan is the Suns biggest nemesis.

If we don't factor in minutes per game & defense, Amare > Garnett

So Atlanta would have yet another PF and still no PG? Don't get me wrong, I like the trade from their perspective, but they're clearly going to have to make some moves.

For Phoenix, I think you hold out. Marion and Diaw are clearly being offered. Maybe even Barbosa too. But not Amare.

For Minnesota, I like it, but I have the same question: If Phoenix is giving up Amare then do they really want the draft picks instead?

Amare would play C for Atlanta, with Josh Smith at PF and Marvin Williams at SF. Lue probably plays PG with Johnson at SG. Maybe Atlanta opens the money bag and tries to sign Billups to play PG. Or they could move Johnson back to PG again and play that kid from Stanford (forget his name) at SG.

With Amare/Joe Johnson do you think Billups will be interested in joining Atlanta?

That would be one hell of a team, especially in the eastern conference. If Billups stays in the east, Atlanta or Cleveland would make sense. I could see him going to Miami as well if the cap works.
