I like NL okay and even seem to be doing decently at it.
But I definitely tend to prefer limit.
That's not really what this discussion is about though.

gets kind of annoying that practically any time limit is brought up there is some NL fanboi wanting to chime-in about how boring he thinks it is.

I've been grinding at 1-2 FR limit (8 tables) at 3500 hands per day now for about 2 months. I just turned supernova today. I average about 40 VPP/100 hands. It takes about 7 hours a day to reach this number because of wait lists/ tables breaking/ most of the tables coming in at 65 hands per hour. I average about 1BB/100. The most I've seen anyone with any significant hand sampling is about 2.5BB/100. At my current play level I will reach the 500k plateau next year. I believe it is positively impossible to play the required 7000 hands per day AND maintain any kind of a win rate in order to reach SNE. Now, that is not to say, you couldn't be a slight loser and still make pretty good money overall by the back end of the year.

so this would mean you should expect to break even after losing money due to stars being rigged and then being reimbursed w/ vpps?

You can easily make 20k a month playing 7 hours of 8 tables of 1-2

[/ QUOTE ]

And thats why your quitting stars, because $20K a month just doesn't cut it anymore

so that the greedy company doesnt keep all profits and give us one bonus every 8 months.

You can easily make $10k/month, but choose not to because you didn't get a couple $150 deposit bonuses.
Just wanted to get that straight.

OP: Do you know Greg Oden?

Can someone help me out? I know you can buy stuff with points earned on Stars, but I didn't know you could actually convert points to money. Is this true? How do you do that?
