Default what is your play on the river?

live 9 handed. I just sat down and don't have good reads other than the game looks loose and aggressive.

Two EPs limp, I raise from cutoff with AdKc, button calls, and BB calls.

The flop. Ac9d3s

I bet, button calls, BB calls, others fold.

Turn: Ac9d3s8s

I bet, button calls, BB calls.

River: Ac9d3s8sJs

I bet, BB check-raises. I have played with him before but no great reads. He seems fairly straightforward and slightly loose preflop.

Is this an easy crying call? Is my bet standard on the river?

Yes and yes, imo.

He probably rivered you with something stupid, but getting 12:1 I couldn't lay this down without a great read. The river bet seems super standard.

In the east coast games I play in this is a bullet muck on the river once BB raises.

Although I would likely also call (incorrectly), I have a difficult time believing that OP's chance of being better is anywhere near the 12:1 odds he is receiving.

If it's a really bad or really good player, it's a crying call. 98% of your opponents will have you beat here 100% of the time.

As for the bet on the river, it's a function of your opponents. If BB is an inveterate check-raiser, then tend to check rather than bet. If your opponents are calling stations, then tend to bet rather than check. The river card hit a backdoor flush and straight and is in the mid-range that could make two pair as well. You still have only one pair (duh!).
