I dont really like the first hand. Unless I know he's super aggro i dont wanna be stacking off with QK on this board.
Anyway ... He's shown that he will call your raise with atc and then call a flop bet with middle pair. I probably bet ~$16 on the turn and fold to a reraise |

wow b/f really? i always c/f or c/c depending on floating history etc, always.
i think 88 is way to bad to protect with and hell call you with all sorts of Js and other crap putting you on a draw |

In the first hand, as stated above, without a read a single pair is no good against a turn raise.
On the second hand, bet the turn as a second shot bluff, shut down to resistance and try to get to showdown as cheap as possible. |
