[ QUOTE ] Just keep saving them, Stars will come out with better rates for FPPs over time. You also get better $/FPP ratios the more you use. I don't plan on using mine for anything until I get 5M or Stars comes out with something comparable to the Aston Martin in $/FPP. [/ QUOTE ] what makes you say that z32? generally, the reverse is true: rewards programs lose value over time. [/ QUOTE ] ZOMG, concierge service is now 186k Fpps! |

Re: OT: How do you use your FPP
Some of the items, like the digital cameras, are dropping in price rapidly as newer models come out, but the price in FPPs is staying the same.

Re: OT: How do you use your FPP
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] I love the 375 FPP turbo 36 man sats (1 SM spot awarded), as I'm already so used to the speed of the turbos, and this is the only turbo sat they offer. [/ QUOTE ] In my opinion thats like the worst tournament ever. Double shoot outs are nice, the play is unbelievably bad. Otherwise, you cant go wrong with just buying in. [/ QUOTE ] I don't see why this tournament is so bad. Assuming each player has the same chance to win, there is 13500 FPP prize pool converted to $215 first prize, which is comparable to the rate of 1 FPP = $0.016 elsewhere. Now the play at this tournament is quite bad, even worse than at the low stake turbos, with people pushing absolute trash from hand 1. I think most of the regulars on this board can achieve 10%+ ROI in this (treating the tourney as a 375 * $0.016 STT with no rake). This may require as little as on the first all-in showdown, average a 55-45 edge, which is not unreasonable given all the fishy play. I don't get to play much on PS, as work and bridge take up the majority of my time. Usually I just go for silver each month. So IMHO for people who won't realistically save enough to buy the biggest FPP prizes, the 375 FPP satellites have good value, especially if they can make use of the T$. |
