Also, I cannot remember the last time I went to a pump that didn't have the auto hold feature.

The best part about this thread is OP trying to be helpful, about 1/3 of the thread saying "whoa, sweet idea, thanks", and the other 2/3 saying "WTF are you retarded this has been around for ever, everyone knows about it". Well apparently 1/3 of the thread didn't.

Never heard of this, but I've always lived in warm weather and those auto things work like 95% of the time anyway.

Perhaps a poll can straighten this out...

My options are cold weather or warm weather? Unless you live in a state that borders Canada or Mexico I don't think you can choose one or the other of those.

This is indeed illegal in MA. It sucks because now I only have one free hand at the pump to light my cigar.
