IIRC they also did it for Jacksonville against Cleveland several years ago.

Did they look at a replay? If all they did was look up the rules, they can do that anytime they are unsure of the rule.

I only saw it on the Fox studio show, but yeah, they looked at the replay. The official said "We're going to take a further look." Then there's a 2-minute delay in addition to the 2-minute delay where they had already talked. Then Fox finally gets the picture of the ball going through. James Brown and the whole studio gives them kudos for going to the replay.

Then the official says something like "After a long discussion..." BS, it wasn't the discussion, they had long since stopped discussing it.

On the CBS postgame show, they just said that the league confirmed that this is reviewable.

Because it hit something it is reviewable says the NFL. Pretty stupid rule, youd think any kick would be reviewable no matter what the situation.

If I'm not mistaken I believe the bottles were plastic at that game.
