Default AKs in Rerasied pot. 160bbs deep - weird line with TPTK.

villain is a standard abc 20/15/3 TAG. i have ~500 hands with him and have never seen him do anything out of line or even remotely imaginative. i thought my line would get the most value vs his range, but what do you guys think

I've been doing this a bit lately and it has been working out nicely. You don't push out weak A and alot of times you get a weaker A trying to push you off of your 'QQ'. If you can just sweat 3 outs from worse A your golden. I guess you could miss value from AQ but does this villain 3bet that?

anyway villain called with AQo and i realize i left quite a bit of money on the table. when he checked the turn i just thought his range was very heavily JJ-KK and thought turn check/river raise was the best way to extract.

Given your turn check, you need to raise the river bigger. You basically have the nuts, so play it more strongly.

iknow i have the best hand... thats not the issue here at all
the question is:
how often does villain have AJ/AQ vs 99/JJ-KK?
i thouhgt Ax was much less likely after his turn check and then his super weak river bet.

do you guys think KK/QQ call a raise to say 85?
