Default How often during a week do you make breaks?

I am 100NL full-time player.
Usually I play everyday.
And although during last several weeks I have been running well, now I feel a very strong dislike to seat and play, despite the fact that my session costs me about 200-300$.
Yesterday I felt the same feeling, but I said "lets play 100 hands and then I will be able to give it up", but during these 100 hands I've lost about 150$, wich brought me a very strong motivation to continue to play.
Today I want to make a break, but I'm feeling guilty: "You are in a good shape, why do you want to loose money are not playing?"
So, how often do you make breaks during a month? Is it possible to play month by month without breaks?

you make a living off 100NL? How many tables do you play at a time, how many hands/week?

You should make breaks every now and again when you're stressed or whatever. There's no set time.

I play 100NL as my only income also. I try to play almost every day, but I alternate between 3-4hr days and 8-9 hr days.

Weather you are stuck or not shouldn't matter.

Are you adequately rolled?

Also, how can you play only 100 hands? Are you single tabling? If you are then you are crazy and wasteful.

I have 60 buyins and ready to move to 200NL in a week.
You didnt understand, I dont play everyday 100 hands, my session it is 1200-1300 hands.
But YESTERDAY it didnt want to play at all, so in order to try to resurect my desire I told to myself: "Just play 100 hands, if you will not want to play after 100 hands then give up to play for today"

The highest I have played is $50 nl and my regular game is $25 nl. I probably have a worse problem than u tell u the truth. I grew up in a family that had a problem spending $5 on a meal at mcdonalds. So lately I have been doing a little thing to jumpstart my game when I dont feel up to playing my usual games. Usually I play 8 6 max games at a time at $25 nl so when I feel like a wuss I play 12 tables of 6 max at $2 or $5 nl and just to mess around. Ive noticed that after about 20mins of that crap Im like F this and go to my regular game and just play cause I know IM gonns make so much more $$$$. It seems to make a huge difference cuz them Im just playing poker and the money whether won or lost has a much smaller impact on me.

I make $23/hr plus $13-14/hr in FPP =~ $36/hr * 50-60hr/week =~ 2k/week

My rate needs to go up so I can play less, or maybe I would play more then. Either way, rate needs improving. I 10-12 table.

8-9k/week is amazing to me. Congrats. Was my misunderstanding about the 100 hands. I get it now.

You always understand me in the wrong way.
I meant 8k-9K hands per week, that was your question.

Wow, my fault again. 8-9k monies/week is probably not possible 3 tabling 100NL. That should have been my first clue.
