Last night I played the Warmup at Stars. This hand happened when there were 104 players left. Avg is around 230k. I'm in 60th. Next money bubble @ place 91 iirc.

Preflop is fine? What is my move on this flop, and what is villains range after the coldcall?

C - bet something like 40k and fold to a shove. At least you can pushbot profitably after.

In a Sunday Major, villian's cold call can mean anything from "I HAVE AA OR KK AND SLOWPLAYING IS CLEVER" to "109 SOOOTED IS SO PRETTY AND I READ THAT CONNECTING CARDS ARE GOOD". It's hard to define without some info. Have you been at villian's table long? Seen him do anything interesting? Did you pokerdb him or run him through OPR?

And I think this spot illustrates why it is so much better to be 3 - betting pre - flop rather than open - raising when you get to around 15BBs or less.

That was my plan as well, then villain only bet 30k. Is this a good spot to pick up some extra ammo or should I still just fold?

I would fold. Maybe checkraise if you had a gutshot or backdoor flush draw or something.

c/f, I think he has a very big hand pretty often calling instead of pushing in this position with these stacksizes.

Yeh, the call and then the half pot flop bet is often an overpair.
