Last year's was better cuz you had someone to hate a call a dbag and root against (J.Gold) and then you had the supposed hero and an actual respected and great pro (cunningham).

This year there was Lee Watkinson, who's not exactly on Cunningham's level, and RainKahn, who both went out early and without much table presence. Seemed a bit plain.

Also, the double-stack idea was dumb IMO. Is there a reason we need to be betting "11000mmiillion" at the FT? I don't think the public cares that much.

The only reason I would say it was better than last year is the first 2 hours where Yang goes from 8th to 1st and there is just a ton of action going on.

Last year Gold came in with a monster chip lead and never really lost a hand, Cunningham chipped up a bit, but no one ever threatened him.

This year Rahme was making a move and at one point 4 handed it really could have been anyone's bracelet.

They aren't much different, but I'd give the nod to this year personally. I wish RainKhan had won a few more hands and gone all spastic though for some entertainment.

I think this added more to the emotion of the FT last year. It was amazing watching Cunningham play live, and there was a lot of people rooting for him and following his chipping up the whole way. It was awesome to watch someone so great chase the "invincible" leader, and had it not been that hand against Wasicka I believe he would've been close.

Had AQ won the last hand HU might have lasted as long as Bloch and Reese in the HORSE event last year.

I just wish Scotty had made it, this could have been the best in a while.
