Last night my fiance has a girl-friend from work over for some drinks. They haven't been friends for long. Her new friend is a newlywed, whose husband is on the opposite coast trying to sell their home. They end up getting really drunk so I whole myself up in the computer room for some bong hits, cheap multi-tourneys, and NCAA hoops.

I bust out of my last tourney about the same time hoops ends, maybe 12:30AM. I go straight to bed and my girl comes and tucks me in. She then tells me her friend is too drunk to drive and is staying the night in the guest bedroom. And then she says she may just sleep with her new friend tonight so don't wait up. I immediately think that's a little weird, and tell her she should just sleep in her usual bed tonight. She says there's nothing weird about it, and sarcastically states she'll come and sleep with me since I'm so concerned about it. At the time I was stoned and tired and couldn't tell if I was even in the ballpark of evaluating the situation correctly.

About 4:30AM I wake up, all the lights are off in the house, and I'm in bed alone. I think for a bit about what the two of them may or may not be doing and fall back asleep. About 8AM I wake up again with my fiance snuggling back into bed with me, saying her friend had just gone home.

I asked her if there was some crazy lezbo action going on last night and she laughed at me. Said they were just up late talking all night, and that girls just like to do stuff like that. I think I believe her. Am I too naive, or is this standard?

Guys are so weird. Some of us would think it's the hottest thing in the world for our GFs to sleep with another chick. Others think it's a vile disgrace to their masculinity. Neither camp understands the way the other thinks.
