Default Nut Flush Draw on turn in RR pot (200NL 6 max)

Villain is running at 24/17. No other reads on him, as we haven't tangled much.

Should I have not c-bet this flop? Now on the turn I have 11 outs (J of spades might not be an out). What to do here?

Full Tilt Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

CO: $178.85
BTN: $98.65
SB: $166
Hero (BB): $256.75
UTG: $92.55
MP: $400.45

Pre-Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG calls $2, <font color="red">MP raises to $9</font>, 3 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $33</font>, UTG folds, MP calls $24

Flop: ($69) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $44</font>, MP calls $44

Hero?????

Thanks

I shove this turn all day. You have a ton of fold equity. Additionally when you are called you have a boatload of outs to the nuts/near nuts.

So I had $180 left and he had me covered. There is $157 in the pot.

I ended up betting $100 intending to call a push.

He did push, and I called. He had QQ, and I hit a spade on the river.

My follow up question is: What has more fold Equity? A shove ($180 into a $157 pot), or betting $100 which obviously commits me to the pot? Or is it pretty much the same?

Or is only betting $100 bad because he could just call the turn, and then fold if a 4th spade falls on the river?

I know the focus of this post was more about the turn action, but I think cbetting this flop is pretty bad. You have about the only premium-type hand that didn't hit a piece. C/f here will save a lot of money, sucks to just throw away the $33 pf though.
