2/4: KJs hits second pair and flush draw on flop..will do in 2 parts
Villain was running at 43/4/2 and seemed pretty bad.
Hero: $552.40 Villain: $397.40 Hero: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Pre-flop: 3 folds, Hero raises to $14. Villain calls. Villain #2 calls. Flop (board: 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]): Villain bets $27. Villain #2 folds. Hero raises to $90?? Thoughts on raise size? Everyone agree that this is an easy raise? I'll post turn action in a bit. I was totally confused on this hand. DrSues02 |

Re: 2/4: KJs hits second pair and flush draw on flop..will do in 2 par
I prefer a flop call when we have some showdown value here. Raising probably doesn't get called by any worse hands other than lower flush draws and won't get a 43/4 guy to lay down an ace.

Hero bets $175?? Here is the part where I'm confused and I don't think I played this very well. I missed my flush draw, the board paired, and the villain seems to be pretty passive. He could be on any ace or six, flush draw, another J or just plain garbage. How many people check here vs putting in another bet? If you do check, you call a pot size bet by him on the river if you miss the draw? Anyone see a case for pushing in an attempt to fold an A? I would really like thoughts on this part of the hand. Check behind on the turn. If he has an ace he isn't folding. Do not try to push him off an ace.
