I can understand c/c-ing the flop because it's such a dry board. However, you flopped a set and you want to get your stack in. You'll typically have better results if you

(1) don't slowplay unless you have a good reason to and a plan for extracting as much value as possible. In this hand, you don't really seem to have a great plan for getting your stack in, as evidenced by your $6 river bet.

(2) Make bets that allow you to naturally get your stack in. In this hand, I think either of the following lines would have been better:

a. bet 2/3 pot on flop, 2/3 pot on the river, and shoved roughly 1/2 pot on the river.

b. c/c flop, lead turn, shove river.

With your stack size, you don't really need any help to get your stack in, so there's no need to get tricky with the check/raising. If he has any kind of a hand you'll be able to get it in just by betting.

I haven't read any replies yet, but I think they can't be good. You completely wasted this hand by slowplaying. You have two options here, and one is to lead out on a very dry flop with your set, and the other is to check and lead the turn. But, you can't check the turn because a check on the flop and then a check raise on the turn is a very unusual line. I think just betting out on the flop is good.. if he has AJ like he does in this hand he folds and you don't make much.. but when you put villain on an equity of hands he can hold which is big pairs, for one, you stack him here when he has a big pair vs your set. Don't slowplay here. imo the best option is to lead.
