Finally back from two solid weeks on the road and very glad to be home.

After four or so visits I have come to the inescapable conclusion that Nice, France completely sucks (only the city itself, not the surrounding areas). Just trust me on this one. Land at the airport and get out of the city with all due possible haste.

In other news I have replaced my cell phone and old Blackberry with a shiny new Verizon Blackbery 8830 Worldphone. It's a way slick unit and me likee very much. It includes the ability to do custom ringtones for which I did a little slicing and dicing on MP3s. For the normal ringtone I use the intro to the Beastie's "Hey Ladies" (which itself is sampled from The Commodores' "Machine Gun"). For my wife it's the intro to Barry White's "You're the First, My Last, My Everything" (awwwwwwwww) and for my boss it's the intro to Depeche Mode's "Master and Servant".
